VENT CONDENSER
Designed to cool and condense vented steam using cold plant water, Docal’s vent condensers can be found in a large variety of plants and large scale installations throughout North America. This is a crucial component in order to obtain constant energy recovery in two forms, hot water and clean distilled condensate to reintroduce into the system. STEAM / WATER EXCHANGER
Docal’s steam/water heat exchangers basically allow for thermal energy transfer between a specific heat source to a secondary fluid. BLOWDOWN TANK
Docal’s blowdown tanks maintain boiler efficiency by collecting water from boilers during blowdown. Essentially, they are designed to control boiler water performance within pre-determined parameters in order to minimize carryover, scaling and corrosion. They are utilized to remove suspended solids from the system. CONDENSATE RECEIVER
A key component of any efficient industrial/commercial heating system is definitely the condensate receiver. Instead of simply losing this valuable moisture coming from the boilers, the condensate receiver returns it to the boiler to be reused, thus saving energy and lowering heating costs. The water temperature remains more consistent and the boiler’s water consumption can be reduced dramatically. Other advantages include a reduction in systems blow downs (no dissolved solids in the condensate from the receiver) as well as less equipment corrosion damages.
FLASH TANK
Designed to allow high-pressure condensate to flash and reduce steam pressure for various system applications as well as reducing cool low pressure steam before returning to the boiler or receiver, Docal’s flash tanks can be found throughout North America in a wide variety of installations. Completely customizable in an endless array of material, orientation, sizing and pressure, our tanks are certified according to the latest ASME standards and available with National Board (USA) or CRN (Canada) certifications.
