WATER GLYCOL COOLED CONDENSER

By far the most common type of condenser in refrigeration systems, chemical processing plants, pulp & paper and pharmaceutical applications, where the refrigerant vapours condense into liquid in the shell while the secondary fluid (often water or glycol) circulates in the tubes. The heads are usually flanged, ensuring easy access for cleaning and maintenance.

Compared to air-cooled exterior condensers, Docal’s shell & tube condensers are smaller in footprint, allow for thermal energy recovery, can be installed indoors, typically lasts years longer, have a higher transfer rate and consume far less energy for the end-user.

All our condensers are custom built to your specifications (2 or 4 pass configurations) and are certified according to the latest ASME standards, available with National Board (USA) or CRN (Canada) certifications. Post-weld Heat treatment, corrosion allowance and marine applications (seawater) available as options.
