OIL SEPARATOR
Docal’s line of oil separators are designed to separate the lubricant present in the discharge vapour in a refrigeration system and return it to the compressor crankcase or the oil receiver. Available with either a demister-type separation, a coalescing filter element design or a custom configuration using both, the oil separator remains a crucial element in any refrigeration system and must be sized accordingly. Custom built to your specifications (horizontal or vertical design, all welded or serviceable types), Docal’s oil separators are certified according to the latest ASME standards, available with National Board (USA) or CRN (Canada) certifications.
OIL COOLER
Most compressors in industrial refrigeration systems have screw compressors that require oil to lubricate bearings, seal internal rotating components and absorb the heat of compression. Therefore, oil cooling remains a crucial aspect of proper system design. Docal’s oil coolers are always custom built to your specific requirements regarding capacity, temperature, flow, lubricating medium and refrigerant (ammonia, CO2 or synthetic refrigerants). Whether using a secondary fluid (glycol, water) or by thermosyphon, this form of indirect cooling requires very little maintenance and are simply in design and operation. Available in endless configurations (number of passes, sizing, pressure rating and material), Docal’s oil coolers are certified according to the latest ASME standards, available with National Board (USA) or CRN (Canada) certifications.
