Pre-heating feedwater to the boiler improves the thermodynamic efficiency of the system, helps in avoiding thermal shocks in the boiler and reduces operating costs.
Available with capacities in excess of 40,000,000 Btu/hr (increasing feedwater temperatures over 340ºF), the Docal feedwater heaters can be customized with endless material configurations, high pressures (2,000psig tube side) as well as serviceable (removable) shells, heads and tube bundles to avoid lengthy and costly downtimes for emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance.
The Docal feedwater heaters are certified according to the latest ASME standards, available with National Board (USA) or CRN (Canada) certifications.
Post-weld Heat treatment, corrosion allowance available as options.
