FEEDWATER HEATER
Pre-heating feedwater to the boiler improves the thermodynamic efficiency of the system, helps in avoiding thermal shocks in the boiler and reduces operating costs. Available with capacities in excess of 40,000,000 Btu/hr (increasing feedwater temperatures over 340ºF), the Docal feedwater heaters can be customized with endless material configurations, high pressures (2,000psig tube side) as well as serviceable (removable) shells, heads and tube bundles to avoid lengthy and costly downtimes for emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance.
PREFLASH
Docal exchanger are prevalent in many oil & gas installations throughout North America. One example is the exchange of thermal energy between the Heavy Vacuum Gas Oil (HVGO) and the Preflash Bottoms. FLASH DRUM
Also called a breakpot, knock-out drum, or knock-out pot, vapor-liquid separator, the flash drum is designed to allow high pressure condensate to flash and become low pressure steam in order to supply heat to various systems. QUENCH DRUM
A quench drum is a vessel in the oil & gas industry that essentially cools and condenses at least part of the hot vented gas or vapor stream (using various internal sprays of quenching liquid) before the heading to the main vent system. DEPROPANIZER / REBOILER

DE-ETHANIZER
Essentially, de-ethanizers are pressure vessels designed to separate ethane from hydrocarbon-rich natural gas in the oil & gas industry. They are usually installed in tandem with a depropanizer and a de-butanizer vessel as well. Docal’s de-ethanizers are all custom built to your requirements with endless material configurations and certified according to the latest ASME standards, available with National Board (USA) or CRN (Canada) certifications. Post-weld Heat treatment, corrosion allowance available as options.
